That's it girl, don't let it beat you. My husband always says why do I carry on, and I tell him, 'It's mind over matter'. Not always easy to do, but us women are strong. By the way mines a back problem, even though I've also had discs removed a few years ago, which was fine for five years, then it crept back. But like you, I won't let it beat me. Jo.x. |

your all so kind, off for blood tests soon, Brian i have been to a pain specialist, i have tried a tens machine, and in january i had 14 spinal injections while awake and it was so painful to have those done, but it didn't work, they want me to go back and try again, but i can't face it at the moment. Its hereditary my mum had disks removed 30years ago and is disabled and in constant pain. My sister had hers removed 3 months ago and can hardly walk. I try not to moan but sometimes its so bad i have to, as i live on my own, my main support is here.I try not to let ,my kids know how bad it is as i want them to enjoy their lives without worrying about me. Mentally i feel brighter today, and as i have said before there are people worse off, i fought cancer 10 years ago, and i'll be blowed if this blooming pain will beat me. so to happier times have a great day all lol sandra |

hi sandra, ive read your posts, and so i know, that your usually in a lot of pain, and over a period of time, the whole body feels debilated, even though the tummy may not be painful, the constant pain elsewhere always seems to make you sick to the stomach, once that happens, the stamina goes, and some days, you just dont want to get out of bed,and face another day of pain. do you have a pain control centre in your area? they are getting good results in london. anyhow, its good to see you still have a great sense of humour, and i hope one day,you will find relief from the pain. bryan. |

Poor you Sandra. Let's hope the Doc can sort you out with the blood test results soon. I once had a good friend who always said "God only gives you what He knows you can cope with". I am not a religious person in the conventional sense, but often wonder why the best people seem to get the worst deal in life. Try to keep smiling - I know it's hard, but remember DLTBGYD! (don't let the b*****s grind you down) Big hugs Sue xx |

Sandra, sending you sympathy and a big hug ((())). It's true that anti-inflammatories are cruel to your stomach - my mum has to stop taking hers for a few days at a time every so often to give her digestive system a rest. Obviously nothing wrong with Katie's digestive system though - seems to be working a treat LOL!! Mandy :)) |

Hi everyone as you know i'm a pain sufferer, due to my spine, and every other part of me thats falling apart. i've not been to good the last couple of weeks but plod on. Just back from the Drs finally went as feeling unwell, but no real symptoms, except tired and dizzy, not hungry [might go blonde again for those dizzy moments] she gave me a thorough mot, taken me of my anti inflamatories, and pain killers, given me something else for my stomach as she thinks i may have internal problems from the pills, and now on morphine for the pain though a low dose. my heart rate is up, and my blood pressure is high again, and tomorrow i have to have blood tests, to try and find what else is wrong. i swear i must have been really naughty in my last life!!!!! my halo must of been round my ankles. and to top it all this will make you laugh 5 month old katie did a really loud noise in the chemist and promptly stunk the place out. Te He i feel abit better now after my moan thanks for listening, i was shouting as i wrote this lolol sandra |
