In this month's Your Family Tree, there's an article on a chap who thinks he's the last person in the world to have his surname! Have any names or twigs died out in your tree? My son might be the last Stephenson to descend from his greatgreatgrandfather (if he has no children!). Quite a few childless couples are the main cause. How about you? |

Hi John I have one Keggins in my tree. There are only five listed on GR the youngest having been born 1901. I haven't never came accross the name anywhere else, so perhaps that name has died out. Anyone else heard of it? Christine |

There's a Keggins message board - it's not very busy though http://boards.ancestry.*com/mbexec/board/an/surnames.keggins |

My gggg grandmother's maiden name was Dusolei/Dusolie. She was born in 1801. Her sisters and her all married in the same year and from what I can see, her brothers did not marry. She married in 1824 in Chelsea. The only person I've found on the internet with the surname is a gay porn star! Not sure if it's his real name though. |

My maiden name is dying out for sure. My only brother has two daughters and that the name comes from Finland, will not be many left in Gt Britain. The surname is ROSMAN. Sylvia |

My maternal grandfather was a NOTZKE, although he changed his name to Notley, he had brothers and nephews but I can't find any trace of living descendants in the UK. |
