For example, when we use the phone we still use the term "dialling" a number .... most phone have key pads .... When we use a WC the term "pulling the chain" is still common. Is there any other common actions we perform now which is described by out of date technology? Martin |

The other day I got on the bus and, asked for the 'railway' station - the bus driver didn't know where I meant, until I said I wanted to catch a train. 'Oh the TRAIN station' he said, in a tone that suggested I didn't speak English properly!!!!! |

We use a "clicker" to change the TV channel (anyone remember when they did click?) Make anouncements on the "Tannoy" (Are they still in business?) I still crack eggs into a cup first (Cant remember when I last had a bad one) |
