A sure fire way of enjoying frozen beans. Wash and cut your beans. Lay them in a dry tea-towel. Fold in the long sides Then roll them up. Put them in the freezer for 12 hours. Take them out running your finger through them to make sure they are not touching, then roll them up as before and put in the freezer for 48 hours. Take them out of the towel and put into plastic bags and back into the freezer. When you are ready to cook them, drop them in boiling salted water. They taste just like fresh. The above is known as dry freezing. Enjoy........ Norah |
