A home is where you feel safe and comfy wether on your own or with someone :)

My wife and I bought our first house together in 1998. We lived their until last year - 2003 - so thats 5 years. We had happy times and sad times. However - it never felt like home. Our new house, which as I say we moved into last summer, felt like home on the very first night.

Funny you should say that Paul, something similar happened to us. In our 20 years of marriage, we have lived in 1 flat and 6 houses; we moved into our current one nearly 5 years ago and it immediately felt like home. Although we were happy in the others, this one definitely feels different! Mandy :)

Sad thing is, we might have to move soon. Never mind, there are more important things in life.

It's when you put your heart into it and feel your happy relaxed and "at home" and alls right with the world. If you don't feel that then it's not home is it? Sorry to sound blunt, but our present house definitely is not home although we've lived here for the past 12 years. Hope you find it. Anita.
