Benjamin I've often wondered why we have to pay to view Census details that our ancestors gave FREE OF CHARGE! Annoys me to think that my descendents will have to pay to view my Census Returns. If we were to be really kind, we should all keep diaries of our details, and make sure they are passed on to future generations to save them all those search fees! |

Nell Your descendents are going to love you! You've probably got a picture of my Auntie Pollie amongst those old photos!! Make sure you pretend they are all 'family' photos when you pass them on to your grandchildren! I like the idea of marrying 3 Mr Smiths.....that's a masterstroke! Natalie |

Yes, a family Bible, where everyone keep details of themselves and what they have done in their lives, from their birthdate and time and place to what jobs they have had over the years. |

Hope you are keeping a diary as well, Benjamin. Think how lucky all those descendents of Samuel Pepys must be feeling! |

I shall just do what most of mine did - avoid the emumerator and not appear anywhere ! |
