my eldest daughter,aged 23(yesterday) has been seeing this nice lad for a couple of weeks,but has dumped him solely because she found out his surname was..luvesit..as she said to me ..dad,i would be known as nurse luvesit.....so,the question is,would you marry a mr hitler,or a mr rasputin,etc? bryan.

I kept my maiden name (not that my husband has a weird name), just because I wanted to!!

Well, I wouldn't break up with someone but would definately make it know that I wouldn't be changing my name if we got married! I once had a boyfriend when I was young whose surname was Bosomworth! So, so, so, so glad we weren't destined to be childhood sweethearts and get married! Wouldn't want to be known as Mrs Bosom! Amy x

I would be tempted to keep my maiden name if his surname would just call out for mickey-taking! I married Mr Right - but his middle name is Always. Only joking, have been married 20 years to the right man, and I took his surname! Mandy :)
