I recieved a message today from I D Theft suggesting that my ID had been stolen and used it was signed D reports and Associates. Has anyone any knowledge of this outfit? It set me thinking about our security . Banks etc in NZ ask for mothers maiden name for use when establishing ones identity over the phone - easily found out on a site such as GR. Not to much of a problem to me perhaps because I do not bank on line. However I do use a phone line for the net any chance of this being used without my knowledge to debit calls to my account? Computer experts what do yuo think? |
