Yep Daniel, a total prat of myself! Years ago I worked near the Edinburgh Playhouse and was given some complimentary tickets for an American hypnotist called Raveen who was appearing there. It is a strange feeling, you know what your doing, but can't quite help yourself, and have to do it. I went with my husband and mother-in-law, who were only too happy to tell me what a fool I'd made of myself. At one point I believe I was a prima ballerina, no mean feat when you consider I'm a BIG girl! Never mind, there's not many who can say they did Swan Lake at The Edinburgh Playhouse! Christine |

Hi Daniel, I went with my sister to The Empire in Nottingham many years ago. All the audience were invited to clasp their hands on top of their heads. If you were unable to part your hands without forcing them, you were invited up on the stage. I could free my hands easily but my sister couldn't, so she went up on stage and did a number of funny things. Then the participants were told that whenever they came back to the empire, and he, the hypnotist was there and the band played 'So Tired' they would fall asleep. A couple of years or so later, back went my sister and I, the band played 'So tired' and sister prompty fell asleep. I think the hypnotist was Peter Casson. Norah |
