Paul please do not advertise the NHS services, i have enough to do over the bank holiday treating grockles who think a good day out is to sit in a car til they are sick, dying from sunstroke,or having a heart attack then spend the rest of the day in the nearest A&E Bev |

Paul we normally travel this weekend for the same reasons as Gwynne, my hubby only gets 15 days holiday( that he can use as he wants) so they have to be used wisely. WE also go away at easter because of the bank holidays, or the may day holiday. Not an option to go at other time unfortunatly shelli |

Hi, We're off to West Wales for a week and will set off around 6 am tomorrow. We go away on a Bank Holiday because my husband only has to use 4 days of his annual allowance for a week away if we travel then. We also go at Easter. Mayday and Spring Bank Holiday - each time making it up to a week. We get a whole week extra holiday doing it this way. That's why we do it. Have a happy weekend, Gwynne |

Always travel down your way about 3 in the morning - lovely and quite apart from the odd squashed rabbit. Did London to North Cornwall on the A roads in 5 hrs in July and stayed at a lovely place called Boscastle unfortunately you know the rest of the story. Never travel on Bank Holidays though - liable to commit murder. Lin |
