Thank you to Jill for organising todays meet at Deer Park it was great to meet people to put faces to names and to listen to the different stages everyone is at in their research. The comic duo are a mine of information and lovely too, thanks for the chocs, hope you sort out the car park folk. Finding out a wee bit about everyone there was interesting and it was relaxed, not intimidating. I had been worried as I don't really go on the boards and I didn't know what to expect. Thank you to all who attended for making it a pleasant way to spend a Saturday. Siobhan & David |

Didn't get much of a chance to talk to you Wee Bonnie as you were at opposite end of table, will make sure we talk more next time. Siobhan |

Calling all Scottish folk! Is there anyone here from Ross & Cromarty? Or who has Fearn Parish records? I need a huge favour. I'm looking to confirm birth date of Isabel Ross born approx 1944 to John Ross (retired principal of Invergordon Academy) & Betty Fraser in the parish of Fearn. Or even better her marriage, although i have no other info about that apart from it was before 1970. Any help will be greatly appreciated, Mel :-) in Oz. p.s. if it's any help, John Ross's mother was Christina Vass born 1878 Balintore, Fearn and married John Ross. They lived at 5 & 9 Park St, Balintore 1881,1891 & 1901. Tx. |
