Don't bother with the interment, just stick the minced remains in a Jiffy Bag and send it to our NEW KITTEN, so new he hasn't got a name yet and is currently down as Feline Fing.

Thank goodness we keep our sense of humour on here. Well, that's good news about the place of interment, I've not been to the Canaries before. Joy

We had a dentist called Mr Nash. There's an optician called EyeseeEye. And an optician called Miss Seymour. All true. Back to the post mortem - please keep us posted. All very sad. Joy

Speaking of housework. I am taking my lemons back to the shop because they don't work. I've seen the advert where a lemon whizzes along the dirty crockery and cleans it. I put a lemon on the worktop with my dirty dishes and it just sat there. And it just sat there. Do you think I might have a case against A**A for selling goods not fit for the purpose?

Who cares how old? Happy birthday Trollop! Bob

Joy

Joy Report 7 Sep 2004 21:47

Dave did say "a happy birthday to Billy in Glasgows, next door neighbours cousins boyfriends mates sisters budgie who is 2 years old today" so maybe they are different in Glasgow? Joy

Jacqui

Jacqui Report 7 Sep 2004 21:41

the life expectancy of a budgie is not as long as 2 years, so I believe Trollop is actually a finch, spray painted! Jacqui

Joy

Joy Report 7 Sep 2004 21:35

Hope not, because Dave said "budgie who is 2 years old today". muttering - Trollopo m singular Trollopi m plural Garibalda f singular Garibalde f plural mutter oh dear

Jacqui

Jacqui Report 7 Sep 2004 21:26

Sorry for confusion, a female budgie would be called Garibalda and NOT Garibaldi! A male budgie might be called Trollopi and a female budgie called Trollop. Sorry to be pedantic but I DO so like things right!!! Anyway, is it dead? the budgie that is! Jacqui

Next time my better half conducts a christening, (of children), perhaps he should suggest Garibaldi and Trollop as eminently suitable names? ..... Joy
