Hi Sian, I looked for the info you requested today, but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack! I couldn't find anything in the local paper, looked in Jarrow deaths but it was impossible to narrow it down without a full date of death or a parish. They have parish records, but you'd need to find out the church. If you could get that, or a full date of death, you could probably call the library to see if they'd help. I'm sorry I couldn't find anything for you. The library at South Shields is on 0191 427 1818, extension 7860 for local studies. Good luck! |
