sounds like a virus ,or a worm,if your friend has norton or mcaffee on their system i would check it all out ,and then install a firewall asap ,good luck ,and if you get an e/mail you arn,t sure of ,delete ,don,t open.Fred. |

Hi Eileen, Do you have any idea what the actual message was about? And what sort of problem did it cause? All I've had from GR in my ordinary inbox are the standard messages that tell you there's a message in your GR inbox. Have you tried emailing GR? Good luck, Mandy :) |

Has anyone had a computer problem with a message supposed to have come through Genes Reunited dated 31/8/04 20.42. I am putting this on for a friend whose computer has now crashed due to this message attaching itself to her documents file and deleting all her programme files Thanks Eileen |
