I think it was for Carling Black Label where the squirrel did all sorts of acrobatic things and the caption was, 'I bet he drinks Carling Black Label. The other one I loved was a bulldog, a black and white cat and a little mouse did an advert for Gas, I think. Jo. |

I remember the stylophone, in fact I still had one, I think my son has it now if he hasn't binned it, and I had a tressy doll, did anyone have Tippy Tumbles? I did and then when some of Mum and Dad's friends came round I said their daughter could have her.... do you know they let her take it!!!!! - Yes June nr Preston that means you! Something about teaching me not to give things away.... a hard lesson to learn. Now then I remember an advert .....it was a cartoon with three dancing girls with skirts made from currants - dancing I think to the tune of Diamonds are a girls best friend..... only it was "Whitworths are a girls best friend" Remember that one? - Gaynor Ann |

I think it's a sign of getting old Pat, when you can remember all this from years ago but can hardly remember what you did a couple of days ago! Christine (43 feeling 73) |
