What good news, John is still with us, I have missed him these past few weeks. Maybe he will be back on board by Xmas. Not a lot to say to-day, been to chiropodist, had lunch(dinner), went shopping on the net ,mostly foodstuff for Xmas. Makes it much easier to have our shopping delivered to the door. Every one seems in good spirits at the moment. Hope you are not too full of spirits over the Festive season Hic Hic!! JUNE WHERE ARE YOU< OFF GALIVANTING AGAIN?!! You never know where she gets to do you fellow Brummies. Time and tide again , time to go. Hope To spend a bit more time to-morrow. Hi Rick, Well there is now two of us on parade LOL Not late Rick only the CAPTAIN Jim has not come on duty yet. Must say I am not a lover of shopping, that is why when I do have to go out and see things I buy them and put them away. Hence all the shopping done. I bet our Jan is going mad at the shops, hope you have given her extra money to spend. Or the credit cards will be in for a bashing. LOL. Hello everyone am back from christmas shopping :-)))))))) was really not that bad - except I got lost :-(((( and Rick got a little grumpy coz he was picking me up and I couldnt find him lol am sure he will laugh lots about it later - so anyway came home and then wrapped some pressies and we went to the pub it did make me laugh when rick who had had an easy day working from home said he needed to go for a drink!!!!!! when I had had the hectic day and finished the christmas shopping!!Men lol. Awwwwwwwwww Jim you cannot leave us - I need you - its christmas and you have adopted me I will be sooooo very sad not to see you on here - please find a way - else I will have to contact gc and say please help Jim he adopted me!!! Hi Everyone, I just got back from Calgary, a drive from hell, met my Brother In law for breakfast, wind was really blowing and started snowing, seem to clear by when we had finished breakfast, so I decided I would head out for the 3 hour drive, half an hour in to the drive ran in to a traffic jam, going round a accident, two vans totally smashed, 6 taken to hospital three of them young children. got moving but very slowly only one lane clear of snow, another hour on ran in to ice, could see two vehicles in the ditch so slowed down did a full circle on the ice and luckily didnt hit anyone but finished up on the sholder of the highway facing the wrong way, drove a short distance to an over pass so I could get turned around the right way, anyway after that the road started to clear and coming round the mountains it was pretty good, anyway just got home an hour later than usual. So Jim thats my excuse for not being on Parade, my shoes where dirty anyway so you would have only yelled at me, and probably made me peel spuds for you. Well while I was in Calgary got all my Christmas shopping done, wrapped and delivered. so now I am going to relax for the rest of the time till Christmas, and to start the season I am off for a drink with friends. so nighty night talk to everyone tomorrow. Well I just want to pop in and thank all the brummies for the threads I am still here and I am reading the threads as they are posted. As you made me an Honoury brummie I watch for them but havent added as you have more interesting things to say. I am privaleged to be an honoury brummie thank you all for all your wonderful threads and no argy bargy. Jim I am pleased you got all that sorted and you are back and fit as ever.
