Hello Jenny, and thankyoux I had a panic on actually, I have a prepayment meter for my electricity that I have a key for...I took the key with me to York when i went for the girls, to get it charged at a shop there, then lost it )0: I had to phone up and get someone out to top up for me, and order another key, I was so worried i'd have no electricity all weekend.

Sorry just got back, the tea is stone cold now, not your fault, just as well I like it cold! That's the problem with being at work, people ask you to do things! still off home as soon as the reinforcements come in at 9.00 Christine, it's the Dorset coast, Poole, but I'm in Bournemouth at the mo! Have a nice morning Suex

Good morning all. Just popped in for a quick cuppa. Have loads to do today. Having me water pipes re-lined tomorrow. So water shall be turned off for 36 hours at 8.30am in the morning. Think I shall have an idle day. Can't do much on a Monday without water. But must remember to fill the bath tonight so we can flush the loo. Shall have to put tape on the hot water taps, cause my lot will forget and drain all the hot water tank, then we will be without Central Heating. It has turned quite cold up here this weekend. Dont think the snow is too far away. Glad to see you back Postie. Have a lovely Birthday. How nice to have the girls with you, on such a special day. Have fun. Jenny.

*music plays* Mr Blue Sky - ELO Hi Christine, My experience in pub quizzes has finely tuned my brain to cryptic clues. I have an excellent memory for stuff that doesn't matter and absorb lyrics etc like a sponge. Sadly I can never find my purse or remember what day it is. Gwynne

*music plays* Let's Do it - Victoria Wood. Hi Christine, I'm totally obsessed by poetry. I love it. I have more poetry books than genealogy-related books (and that's saying something). I read some every day. I wish I had the talent with words to weave the pictures the way the poets do. One of my proudest moments was when my son (then aged 13) won the poetry prize in the Festival of Arts. He didn't keep it up, sadly. No time in his busy life to smell the flowers. Gwynne
