Sheila You feeling old or something? lol. Well all the people I was into are either dead or getting on and slowing down, but a lot of the old time Reggae Singers would give the newer ones a run for their money, BUT with QUALITY LMHO. Yep saw some good concerts at the Rainbow, I lived near it at that time. Pat x

Sheila, That was the 2nd concert 1979, brilliant. I love seen Reggae Artists mentioned here, I always think people don't know who I am talking about, so it's great to speak to someone who was there, GREAT!!!! Respect Pat x

Carolyn Report 6 Feb 2005 22:04

Pat, I think you're probably right, but that's just like all the old concerts! It's hard to believe Rod's just turned 60, but I suppose it's all relevant, we're a lot older too! Carolyn

Carolyn I will look out for that, by the way where they well drunk by the end of the night, trying to fight each other pmsl. What a bunch of blokes they were, pity the way Rod Stewart went liked him in the earlier days. Pat x

Slade at Hammrsmith. Fell asleep while everyone else were dancing in the aisles. Obviously they weren't loud enough for me!

Pat, my son bought me the Rod Stewart live at the Albert Hall DVD for christmas, it was the concert that was on TV a few months ago but longer. Ronnie Wood joined him on stage for some of the old Faces numbers and the atmosphere was just like some of the old concerts with all the audience singing along. If you like him treat yourself to a copy. Carolyn
