Thanks for you message Beth. It is probably me getting a bit panicky cause no one has commented that Gaynor Bear will be making her first public apearance at the Geordie Meet. I just hope nobody minds me joining the two together. It will be a smashing day I am sure. Quiet a few are staying the night. It will be nice if you can. Jenny. |

Oh Anna, that is brilliant news. I am sure the children will really enjoy their day, hubby too. I am getting a bit worried because all those that originally said they were coming have not posted anything on the thread for days. Its as if they are just not about. Ive booked me hotel now,Innkeepers Lodge at Cramlington for friday and saturday night,it was the closest I could get to Newcastle.Ive also persuaded other half to drive me down with the kids,they are going to go to the Life Science Centre on Saturday Anna :-) |

Hi Anna. Get that ticket booked, we are going to have a fab day. I would imagine we shall be in the pub mainly. I am hoping a few will join me on the beach at Tynemouth to name The Big Pink Bear. I shall be getting in touch with the local newspapers and possibly Century Radio. It will be great if you can stay over. Grandpa Jim is and Pink also. Whatever is best for you. Pink will be bringing the collection bucket up with her. Jenny x |

Are you bringing your collection bucket Diana? Ive got a tub of loose change that the kids have been collecting if its any good to you(1p 2p and 5p pieces). Jenny, Are we staying in the pub the whole time or going elsewhere as i need to book my train ticket by tomorrow to get it cheap.I dont know what time to book the return for,or whether or not to stay overnight Anna :-) |

Good morning all. Just popped in to let you know we shall be having a very special guest at our meet up. YES, Gaynor Bear will be with us. I shall be starting the GR Relay at the meet up. Ann There is a formula 1 hotel next to the inn keepers hotel at kenton and it is only about £20 a night i stayed in a one in scotland last year they are nice hotels and you can book online i think. Gary (Annies boyfriend) |
