Good morning all. Very sunny up here in Tynemouth at the moment. But also very cold, just around zero degree's. I went into 'Toon' yesturday for the day with a friend. The County Hotel is now A Thistle Hotel, so not suitable for us all to meet. We went onto the Three Bulls Heads In Percy Street. Sorry No Children allowed. Had a nice meal there, very impressed. Rump Steak was perfect. A wide variety on menu to suit all tastes. The room upstairs seems to be just what we need, only thing I was a bit concerned about was there is not soft seating. Does that bother anyone? Anyway I have made a provisional booking for up to 30 people. The Manager is going to find out B*B costs for those that wish to stay overnight locally. Paul, thats great. Another for the list. Cant have a buffet there Paul. It serves food. Very good menu though, to suit all. Have sampled the steak it was lovely. Look forward to meeting you. Jenny. |
