Em,He didn't even have to BUY the ring,it was his grandmother's. I can just see a Royal Wedding down the Registry Office - All those hats and Frockcoats.It will be a very small event. Didn't Princes Anne marry in a Scottish Kirk.Why cant he do the same.It has all of the promise of a Whitehall Farce so far. That's a good one Em-If she can't be Queen,she can be Pearly Queen. Em Queen and I is even funnier on tape. Got it for myF-I-L when it came out first of all as a stocking filler.He was a closet Royalist and I bought it as a laugh to pull his leg.WOW DID THAT MISS FIRE He threw it accross the room.I think that was funnier than the book-Rose Was 'QUADRAPED' intended-Still laughing ! My husband came and told me this last night after hearing it on the news....he said that they've now got to get married in 'the Town Hall' - he meant Guild Hall - but the imagery of Charles and Camilla nipping into the local registry office for a ten minute ceremony made me smile. Don't you think the Queen is being a bit short sighted?? - think How many millions of pounds she could raise in that time in venue fees! lol......and put it towards some fire insurance perhaps?? Magsxx
