This thread has brought back so many memories some good and some very sad we use to have so much fun chatting and trying to keep Gaynor,s spirits up even when she did not have the strength to reply to us there would be Pink filling us all in on every thing it felt like one big family even though we are all jotted over the world. I still wear my Gaynor,s Star with pride, Gaynor we miss you and what a brave woman, she would even get on here and try and sort other peoples problems out she was a true hero to me and Pink you are amazing what a very true loyal friend you are to Gaynor and her family, I will try to get on here more often I miss you all so much. Caz..... we had a member called Gaynor from Stoke Poges who was diagnosed with terminal cancer - she died last year but she valiantly posted all her treatments and thoughts and we lived it with her..... we started the Pink Fund for her.... we had Gaynor Star pin badges which raised money for Cancer Research UK and we still raise money in her name (GB relay was officially started the night Gaynor died). We bought her a Star for her last birthday and it now shines bright as did Gaynor!! A true lady!! x

hi caz we had gaynor bear at the fortwilliam meet where we all made a donation, daniel was looking after her she drank with us and climed with the fit lol.

She has just left me in Perth and is now in Dundee. While here she played dart's,made rice crispies and even went to the dentist! Marion

cannot believe it is now two years since Gaynor died.....I still wear my Gaynor star on my lapel.. Remembered, Joyce.(who doesn't post very often )
