June - I loved it when they were little - the number of times I have drunk tea made with cold water! really regret not uprooting or taking cuttings from a Masquerade rose they bought me one year when we moved from our last house - I wonder if it is still there?

Mags - NOTHING ! When I picked little man up on Friday I was full of anticipation but not one single sequin or broken feather had seen the light of day. Number one son has gone to live with his Dad and says that means he doesn't 'do' Mother's Day any more - I am feeling sooooo sorry for myself !!!

Do NOT feed the scary man. I have to keep my faves menu on so I can't see him. He looks like a mad stalker. Gwynne

I agree it is different when your children have children of their own and its no good going out for a meal, everywhere is so crowded.

Linda - believe me you don't need to practice! BW - what not even a wonky glued up card from nursery/school? I used to love those - still got them all! Please can I have a top up?

Guinevere

Guinevere Report 6 Mar 2005 07:36

*music plays* People are Strange - The Doors (especially for Linda) We never go out on Mother's Day - too crowded - we will probably go out for lunch next week instead. Gwynne

Mags

Mags Report 6 Mar 2005 07:35

June - Oh the heady excitement of looking for curtains for the newly decorated back bedroom - how will I be able to stand the excitement? lol Not going out anywhere for lunch or anything - it's different when your kid's are mums themselves isn't it? Then after that - who knows! - on here I expect lol
