Yes Peter you got it. The last person took the last egg, still in its carton. Detctive Sergeant Smith turned up at the station slightly later than he intended. Yes, there are 4 mistakes. 3 spelling mistakes and the mistaken claim that the sentence contains only two mistakes. Try this one while I eat my dinner. On the table is a carton containing six eggs. If six people each take one egg, how can it be that one egg is left in the carton? Aileen |
