Anyone from Derbyshire .... UPDATE after 4 months

I was born in Derby Elaine and when I was two, my parents (and I!) went back to Ireland . I would love to go back some day, all I can remember is the road where we lived, Portland Road. XXBC |

I'm sure I'm not the only one on the boards who was either born or bred in Derbyshire ... or has lived here at some point ! ...am I ?? I'm was born in Derby, grew up in Darley Dale, spent my teenage years in Matlock ...moved away to Staffs for a number of years but got homesick and returned to Matlock and then because of the animals we moved to the Alfreton district where I am now. Am I alone ? Elaine :-) **** Seems there was quite a lot of interest in a meet ! ... so if anyone's still interested, let us know, where, when etc ... August is NOT good for me ... September seems to give a few weeks to sort things ! and it doesn't have to be Matlock - but Matlock Meet had a 'ring' to it !!***** |
