And another by Christina Rosetti REMEMBER me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand, Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay. Remember me when no more day by day You tell me of our future that you plann'd: Only remember me; you understand It will be late to counsel then or pray. Yet if you should forget me for a while And afterwards remember, do not grieve: For if the darkness and corruption leave A vestige of the thoughts that once I had, Better by far you should forget and smile Than that you should remember and be sad.

To Susie, Pink, Rob and Family and friends Gee where do I start. I was looking on the message board, wondering how Gaynor was going, and something told me to look at this thread. I never met Gaynor but I have an idea what all of the people the closest to Gaynor must be feeling. As I lost a very close family friend, whom I have known all my life, to cancer a fortnight ago. My condolences to all who new her. Sue from Tasmania, Australia

Have just looked out a verse I have which is by Lynn New - No pain beyond, no tears, no fear. No thought of death - for I'm still near. No hugs I know, or sweet caress, But I'm still close to love and bless. No quiet word, nor gentle touch But don't despair - I love you much. No gesture kind to show I care, The veil is drawn, but I'm still there. Grieve not too long - but look around In earthly things I shall be found. A falling leaf, a growing tree, In every breeze you will feel me. I walk in life; death holds no pain. Be reassured, we'll meet again. Remember Me.

Gaynor knew this is what i wanted to say: I often lie awake at night When the world is fast asleep And take a trip down memory lane With tears upon my cheek No one knows the heartache I try so hard to hide No one knows How many times I break down and cry To each of us There comes a time When loved ones have to part For me Your parting was too soon And broke my very heart God bless our dear friend very much love Donna and Dave xxxx

Grampa forgive me but this is so so lovely I had to copy it.... Added by Grampa Jim (Home Secretary, Hopeless at Filing) on 15/04/2005 00:18:13 She knew the way her cards were stacked She knew she wouldn’t win. So she showed us all the way to take Bad news on the chin. A smile a joke a loving touch And to her friends a word, She was the bravest person Of any I have heard. So Gaynor we all miss you And wish you were here still But rest in peace, my lovely As I am sure you will.

It has taken me an hour to answer this. May Gaynor sleep in Internal Peace. May all her Loved ones, be given the Strength, to carry on in the way that she would have wanted. May they all follow her footsteps and have the same Loving, Friendliness, Courage and Dignity that this wonderful Lady has shown us all. I am so sorry Rob, my heart goes out to you and yours.
