Ryan Adams recently covered Wonderwall, and is a better version than Oasis' version, IMHO. |

I think the best ever remake is 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' by Eva Cassidy beats the original Judy Garland one by miles even though original was good Eva's version sends tingles down my spine! Dave |

Ready or Not (Here I come) The Delfonics I think it was 1969 or 1970 the Fugees massive hit. There are loads more, but I just keep thinking of parts of old songs taken by especially hip hop artists i.e. Everyday People originally by Sly & the family stone taken by Arrested Developement for 'People Everyday' 'Can I Kick It' by A Tribe Called Quest who took Lou Reed's 'Walk on the Wild side' Hall & Oates 'I Can't Go for that' used by Del La Soul for 'Say No Go' Marvin Gaye's 'What's Going On' used by Divine Styler for 'Word Power' Most of these a brilliant but they are not actual versions of the songs. Better stop there, as I could go on and on LOL. Pat x |

Pat, you need to listen to my collection of 1920's blues cds, took from the original 78's, there is not a note, lyric, and sound that you have not heard before, Rock'n;Roll in th 50's which was the base for the 60's had all been done before, there is no new music, just music you have not heard before |
