I work with children under the age of 11. I live with 2 children under the age of 3 and a teenager with a mental age of about 5 (and that's on a good day!). This site is the only adult conversation I get and it's not pleasant to get your head chewed off for having an opinion. I'm definitely on the safe fence with Donna and Deb!

Strump/Donna - I agree totally! Am not ill or housebound (out of necessity) But I live alone and work from home so therefore spend 19 hours a day at home alone. Coming on here and chatting with so many different people makes my day interesting and less lonely. becx

Seeing as I am on my soap box! There are some 'groups' on here that have 'leaders'. If someone disagrees with another member of the 'group' all hell breaks loose. I've seen it done over the last year on a regular basis. The word sheep comes to mind. I agree Pat, that more people should speak up and there should be an end to all this. - but these other people are afraid. In the 'real world' I am a very opinionated person and have no qualms voicing my opinion face to face with a person. The problem with the 'cyber world' is that this can not be done. So I will remain in the background, and post only when it is safe to do so. Deb

Hi Donna Always a pleasure seeing you, don't like to read that you and others like Deb and Lou and so many are so wary adding to threads, I think it's a disgrace really. We all pay the same money we all should have the same rights, no one has a more valid point than anyone else so why can't people just live and let live? read what you want and leave what isn't of interest. I am a bit annoyed I must say, not over anything anyone has done to me but to two other people in two days, have been picked on and I am not happy about it. Hope you are ok? I'm not too bad I'm taking things easy still, I am a bit confined still and I should be in bed, but never mind will get there soon. lol. Pat x

I've been a member almost as long as Debs (the other one!)...in my surrogate home country, no less. Hi Debs! I joined in Jan 2003 and have made some incredible friends on this site. But certain members don't make you feel very welcome. I posted on a certain thread last night - something I felt very confident in doing cos I knew exactly what I was talking about - and I, along with several others, were told we were 'jumping in on the thread and were talking c**p. Makes you wary of saying anything in the future
