Hiya gals Just got back from Our Berts place in Surrey, bloomin snobby lot they are an all, went into the local shop and arsked for a brown ale, never heard of it the woman says, she must off 'ad sumfink in her mouth, cos I 'ad to ask her what she said twice, they don't 'alf talk different there they do. Our Berts got this fing in 'is garden it's like a big barf wiv bubbly water in, 'im and his snotty wife go in it, when it gets dark, in this bloomin weather an all, dozey pair they are, asked me if I wanted to 'ave a go, not bloomin likely I says, do you want me to blinkin freeze to death I say, they never answered, so I fort I've 'ad enough of you two, so I packs me stuff and get the Green line bus 'ome, dropped me off on the corner where the co-op is, picked up a loaf, and a packet of corned beef, that'll do 'til the morning, bet they don't even know I've gorn. Fishpate sarnies arrived in the post, bit squashed they were but tasted luvverly, saved a few for the party tho. Anyone got any of that fizzy champagne stuff, babycham, its real good that is, i ave got some glasses somewhere that it goes in, got pretty gold rim they 'ave, real expensive they were an all, 2/6 PER GLASS, in Woolies got 'em in the 50's so they are worth a bob or two now. |Mabel x x x

Im ere an all ! ope yer got those fish paste sarnies through the post mabe. Must ave been a different fish cos they smelt a bit pongy, still they must mature like cheese, I ad em a few days in the larder before I posted em. Ill bring the left over turkey ta the party as well, been warmed up in the stove every day since xmas, I do like my meat warm. Got left over veggies, will make a bit of bubble to go wiv it.
