maz ive just read your thread and i want to say that i really admire you hun last year my name was mentioned along with a few others as being trouble makers and that everyone should stay away from us!! well,i have never caused trouble and never will i was accused of being in a 'clique' and so on well,if thats what people want to think then let them get on with it i know different love susie

Hi Maz You have my utmost respect and admiration for posting this thread. Having spoken to you recently, I know that the 8 week suspension gave you some 'thinking' time - and also that you have had difficult personal circumstances to deal with. I agree entirely with what you have said. I do have some close friends on GR, like most people, but I would never condone a 'clique'. There are bound to be fellow members that you get on better with and have more in common with, but that doesn't mean that others have to be excluded. I'm sorry that you have had people being nasty to you for having the guts to apologise publicly. This is totally unacceptable and I hope that you will report everything you can to GR Abuse. It truly saddens me to see that we still have some trouble makers on this site. We are all on here to try and trace ancestors and make connections and also hopefully to have some light hearted fun when we take a break from those brick walls. I sincerely hope that those trouble makers will now try and find there amusement elsewhere and let the rest of us continue to enjoy ourselves here. Perhaps we should start ignoring their threads as I believe that will really upset them they must be sad people and certainly not brave if they cannot put there names to their threads/replies. Maybe GR should for a while stop the use of nicknames but why should the majority suffer for the few. By the way I am a little old lady and always use my own name. A BIG HUG for brave Maz and all of you who have suffered by this gang. Take care out there folks and watch your back those knives hurt Pat

Hi Maz, I have been reading through this thread and it makes me so sad to see the unhappiness which can be caused through thoughtless/insensitive `messages` which people have left on some previous GR threads. I use these boards hoping to communicate with like minded people. I have only been using these for a short time but have found them to be in the main very interesting as well as very very funny. To the majority many thanks for some very happy GR times to those others... remember `what goes around` etc. Love and Peace to all Marianne.xxxx

Hello all i never post as a rule for fear of what happened to my sister. Maz you are a very brave lady My sister was once Very helpful on all boards regards lookups and such She made a mistake and she left the boards as her apologies meant nothing to those that put her down, Now there are a lot on the boards that probably dont remember her All i can say is please people think what you are doing to others Yes Bullies are cowards Nan

So I have learned something else here tonight that there are cliques on the Board. I have also been the victim of abuse on the Board and have never hidden behind a different name. Why should I, I have nothing to hide. As a lot of you, we live in a democratic country and we should be able to voice our opinions. I know many may not agree with me at times, but I have the right to be human. Maz thank you for owning up and may you enjoy the Board in future, albeit with caution. Maz, Save the abusive emails and report them to the police. They deserve it. Once you have enough evidence, you can block the sender (not sure if you use Outlook, its easy on there). I have seen on Bendy's thread that this has made you ill. Please don't let them get to you, wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery, Carole
