Hi Joy, Yes I am well - I hope you are too. The gums are not so tender today but I suppose it will take a little while to get over it. Friar

Hi Joy, We just had a terrible game of darts - we lost 7 - 4. But not to worry we're still near the top of the table and next week's another game. I hope you are getting over your depression because that is not your scene. ((((((((Hugs)))))))) Ian

Hello Friar / Ian, that's kind of you. It'll pass .... See you later. Joy PS in my ''user name'':- ''bouncebackability'' - or the ''ability to recover after a setback, particularly in sport', which the dictionary says is regarded as having first been coined by Crystal Palace manager Iain Dowie. ..... :-) bouncing back! :-) Joy

Hi Joy, Sorry to see on another thread that you woke up heavy hearted. I'm sure that everything will be o.k. - I get the impression that you're not the type to let that feeling linger on. I'm just about to have my dinner and then I'm going out to play darts - I'll probably be back in about 5 hours. Ian

Good morning Friar / Ian Nice to see you. Not so sunny today, but we'll be okay on our journey now that it has started properly! :-) Joy [ nearly sent this under a different name by mistake ! ]

Canonbie is in Dumfries-shire about a stone's throw from the English border. So far I've chased that side of the family from Dumfries-shire to Kirkcudbright (neighbouring county) and in the early 1800s back to Dumfries-shire again. Read your message - we will work on it. Ian

Where is Canonbie? My better half is online parish clerk for Trewen and Tresmeer in Cornwall. We fight over the computer at times! I've just sent you a message. :-) Joy

I missed last night because I play darts twice a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) and it can be close to midnight before I'm home. on Wednesdays I go to the LADS to do some research. I've got a film of Canonbie parish records at the moment so I'm quite busy trying to transcribe that.

Yes I think he was going out with Kim Clijsters at one time. I'm a Queen of the South fan and in the Aussie rules its the West Coast Eagles. It's quarter to one at the present but I'm on holiday tomorrow so I can have a long lie in.
