Like everyone else I simply do not understand this. It is petty and spiteful and smacks of some peverted kind of jealousy. Since when was thanking people considered fundraising? It is simply good manners and I shall not stop thanking anyone! I'm off out now - can't say where I'm going though as it might infringe some petty rule or offend some petty, person. Daisy |

How how pathetic! What a waste of time and effort to complain about thanks! Put that energy into doing something useful like Pink is and leave her alone! Claire xx |

*having brooded on it for a while* So someone says, 'Miss, Miss, Diana is breaking the rules, Miss' There will always be class sneaks, sadly. But when it happens in my classroom over something this trivial I say, 'Go away and stop telling tales.' Why don't GR do the same? Some school rules just aren't very important. Gwynne |

I have 1 very close friend who has beaten this desease 1 other who has just lost her mum to it, and 1 more who is fighting bloody hard to beat it.....I hope the person/people who did this never have to watch someone being told they have this desease, because they would be of no emotional support to them at all .. Keep up the good work Pink, Jenny and all you pink Saharas And a great big massive thank you on behalf on my friends :)X |

Please could someone explain to me if I have got this right. 1. Pink raises funds for cancer charities 2. Pink posted a thread on the General Board thanking people who had helped her 3. Someone has complained to GR and they have told Pink that she cannot thank people on here any more. Is this the story? You must excuse my ignorance, I am not a habituee of the General Board and do not know the ongoing story. I am a refugee from the Tips Board, and very nervous of posting on this board, having read a bit about what happens to people on here. The more I read, the more Alice-in-Wonderland the whole thing becomes. |

Well, I'm astounded. These - people??- cannot sink any lower. They are pondlife. Would they rather have all the tedious and acrimonious slanging matches that have been on here recently instead??? It makes you wonder how their minds work. Well done to everybody on here who have been fundraising for the Pink campaign. |

I am gobsmacked that someone felt they had to complain. I for one (and loads of others) think you are doing a fantastic job Pink whether by fundraisning or raising awareness of this horrible disease. And the fact you thank others shows what a generous person you are. For the person(or persons) that have complained well shame on you...all monies raised go to the cancer charity and hopefully one day a cure will be found but without donations etc the charity will find it hard to carry out their research so the more money they get good!! I am still finding it hard to undersatnd why there has been a complaint but Pink please carry on as you are. Sue xx |

WHAT!?!?!?! I can only imagine YOU (and I hope you're reading this) have never lost a loved one to cancer, you don't have a life and maybe you're a teeny bit jealous about other people getting some attention on here? Grow up and Get a life!!! becx |

Sorry, I meant to add - I would like to publicly thank all the people of Nova Scotia, Canada. Who are always so generous when myself and others knock on their door and ask them to make a donation to various charities, inclusive of the Canadian Cancer Society. Love to all GR members from all over the world, who donate time and money to charity. Patty |

It makes the blood boil! Why on earth would any decent person complain about a thread that thanks someone for doing a fantastic job. Well honey don't let the b******'s grind you down. Next thing we know the Gaynor Bear relay thread will be deleted, then the Pink Sahara threads, where will it all end? Sorry to go on but it does make me mad. Love ya to bits hun. Jack x P.S can I have some seals for the tubs too? Thanks. |

Oh Pink its bad enough this has happened before but here we go again.Gobsmacked here too, I am also totally disgusted that we have even more people on here that would do such a thing. I wish they would go and get a life, pity they wouldn't show themselves so ALL the people here could see who they are, that would change the look of the general board I reckon. Pink after all you and others have done for this worthy charity I am truly sorry that you have been subjected to this yet again. There are more people reading these boards who think what you and others have done is wonderful and want to thank you then there is the begrudgers who just need to sit and think about the nasty things they do. Lots of Love & best wishes & respect to you Pink for all you have done. Pat x |
