I was born in Sale Cottage Hospital; lived in Sale Moor, Kinmel Bay (N Wales), Oxford, East Dulwich and West Wickham (Kent). Margaret, my sons were born in Beckenham, Kent. Janice

i was born in frimley, surrey. lived until i was almost 17 in hampshire, then the family moved to s. london where i am now, but not for much longer, soon to be moving back home to hampshire, i cannot wait!!!

Born in Rotherhithe (Southwark) moved to Orpington then to Cambridge just after I married and have been in Norfolk for 20 years.

i was born in singapore came to london when i was 2 then went to live in grampa jims neck of the woods in gosport till i was 11 then went to hartlepool for 20 odd years then southampton now im living in wales guess ive been around abit eh lol

I was born in Bishops Stortford, Haymeads Hospital which was just inside Essex then(1959) but now in Herts. Lived in this Village most of my life and can see the farm I grew up on out of the sitting room window about a mile away across the fields in Albury.

I was born at RAF Ely but actually lived at Marham Norfolk (that was nearest RAF hospital.) Then lived in Princes Risborough, Aylesbury and High Wycombe (most of my childhood there) Moved to Hastings to work went back to Wycombe for my wedding now live in Nuneaton, Warwickshire

Born in Aberdare, South Wales, lived in Cardiff, Vancouver, Harlow, Aberdare again now Auckland , NZ

I was born in Rochford Hospital Essex then at 17 moved to Cyprus for 2 years then moved to Switzerland for 2 years now ive in France. xx

I was born at woodgates maternity home later they made it into a nursing home for the elderly and my nanna died there. Anyway brought up in Elloughton moved out to town now i'm back in Brough just up the road to Elloughton. A few people still live in the area that I used to know but a lot have moved on.The thing is though I never remember them they always seem to remember me first,so then I feel completely awfull that i'd forgotton who they were. I find that when I go back to Ebbw Vale in Gwent, all the people I knew growing up have left just as I did!! It is sad walking down the street and not knowing anyone! Susie xx

Hi Karen, Know Bushey, used to go out with a boy from there. Went to Rickmansworth for my Mothers funeral not so long back and the changes, i don`t think i would ever go back there to live. R.B. x

I was born in the very centre of Manchester at the old St Mary's Hospital which was next to the Ritz ballroom,my Mum had been in there on 'Knickers off Night' and nipped next door to have me and then went back for the last dance the 'Okey Cokey'. I lived in Longsight Mancheser till I was 20 and got married and then have lived here in Worsley Gtr Manchester for the last 35 years. Davexx

For all that are back where they were born or brought up is there still alot of people around that you knew from being in your youth!!!! Susie xx
