Finished Crimson Petal - hmmmmmmm!!!! Started the Kathy Reichs - a fast read this one. With the added benefit of picturing Andrew Ryan and his soooo blue eyes lol !!! Maz. XX

I opted for Cloud Atlas but can only review the first 2 pages PMSL.......Maz which Kathy Reichs and I think you'll find Andrew Ryan is reserved pour moi! Julie xxx

Hi folks I have read both books, think it is Cloud Atlas to be reviewed this time Ann Have just spotted your reply on the thread about my course. One of the set books for the second module is The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist, which Dave Bennett recommended ages ago and I have read. It is very good. Maybe some of my other 'set books' will prove to be interesting reading for the others in the book club. Dee xx

Thanks Ann, It's run pretty well without me thanks to all of you. Is Dee around? I've read the Ragged Trouser and its good. Down to serious business lol!.... I think? we decided to carry Crimson Petal over to Aug with Family Tree and Rebecca? To give people (like me) time to read, but all you swots have read both! (hanging my head in shame ) So if you want we can review both? (well I can only review half as I gave up!) September book is to be humerous only? Is that right or have I missed anything?

good to see u bak mike :-) i will join u all in august and read 'Rebecca' as i hav that, most of ur other choices r unobtainable for me as i dont hav much money and the libruary is hopeless most of my books r second hand or from tesco for less than £4..........lol at the moment im reading dan browns books and luving them :-) Lou

Lou, After my own heart! I get most of mine from Mammy- who gets them from any charity shop within 20 miles! Apart from that Asda is next best at £3.76-- but to be honest I wouldn't fork out especially if it was a book I didn't like! I said at beginning no one should go to expense - I haven't read Crimson Petal because couldn't get a copy (same for Family Tree 6 week waiting list in library) - but I look forward to the review all the same and who knows in the future might come across it in a shop? Forgot to add - I read all of Dan Brown -- especially liked Digital Fortress...we might have to do a Dan Brown review?

mike i read the davinci code first and luved it am gonna read other stuff that gives the back ground to it ! my hubby came home with angels and demons for me so iv started that :-) Lou

Lou, You'll enjoy. I wasn't fussed on Deception Point but read Digital Fortress in one go! Each to their own I suppose? But enjoy them they are good.
