I must apologise for not getting there! I got involved in a search at the LMA and forgot the time! I was so tired after poring over old documents and microfilm that I had a headache and decided to go home at 5.00. Sorry to have missed you all, but I am sure you had a great time without me. Nell

Darn it - you beat me to it ! I saw plenty of new faces - mine my the old one ! Good Meet and nice to meet so many people including those that I had met at Maidstone recently - and the redheads Karen and Buttercup (maybe more auburn?) who I think were the only two. Of course the best gang travelled from Bexleyheath but I wont make a fight of it. Hope to see you all again later in the year apart from reading all sorts threads here.

Hiya Suzy, Alex Jean, Joe and Alan Glad you all got home ok :-) Joe, sorry we didnt get a chance for a chat (I dont think we met anway - I'm useless with names, so apologies if we did :-) I usually go to the Maidstone meets but with the last one being so close to this one I decided to give it a miss, but all being well I should be at the next Maidstone meet which will probably be in September at the same time as the History fair in the Lockmeadow centre. Karen Ps Jean, the barman was rather lovely wasnt he :-) did any jammy so and so get his number? pps Nell, shame you missed the meet, it was a good laugh :-)

oh dear must be one of the closest to travel and I've only just got in!!!!! Had a detour to ex mum inlaw and did some unimaginable things to my ex!!!!!!!! Haven't laughed so much in ages!!!! Had really good time at the meet, met some new faces and some old one and one really old one (MAZ!!!!!!) Really enjoyable day. Loads of photos were taken, Alan, Andy, Stu and a couple of others so am sure there'll be LOADS to see Shell

I'm home:) - it was a great night wasn't it? Though I reckon I might have had my drink spiked as I'm sure I didn't drink as much as my head is telling me this morning lol. Didn't get to talk to everyone but met some really nice people and was good to see a few I already knew. I also had a brilliant morning in Islington with HRH even though all the houses I wanted to see had been pulled down! David (who's not actually 65) PS Jean - that barman was certainly feeding Lynda up for something lol

Mornin all - yes I made it home last night !! I had a fantastic day - haven't laughed so much in ages. Yes Ewan WAS pretty tempting wasn't he!! By the way, it was ME he was after - he obviously thought Lynda was my mum and was being nice to her so he would have a better chance with me ..... !! Can't wait for the next one! Hi everyone! Well I eventually got home around 10.45 thanks to the weekend train timetable. Had a great time and would have to agree about the barman. YUMMY! He's got Pink's number and may be coming to the Sahara! David, I hate to tell you darling but you really did drink that much! lol It was fantastic seeing familiar and new faces. You all know who you are so I shan't name anyone except BC who is absolutely lovely and wetted her new grand daughter's head admirably!!! CONGRATULATIONS BC! Morning all. I had a great time at my first meet, once I started talking to a few people. Sorry I didn't get round to more I was enjoying the conversation with those I did...There's always next time. Didn't get a chance to chat to I think it was Steve and freinds who said he was a tag along and did say I'd pop over..Sorry. Maz did'nt really get much time to talk to you either but will look out for the Maidstone meet. Time just flew by and I sudenly realised my train was going to leave so had to shoot off, promised I'd be back for dinner. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Sue
