Hope to see you all at Guinevere's birthday party at 3 p m this afternoon for jelly, ice cream and cake. Bags-I the chocolate bickies, but you can have one if you're good. As usual, we'll be playing - 'Charades' (multiple identities optional) 'Musical Posts' (Dee will host a quiz on these later) 'Hunt the Nudger' (one for habitual late night posters) 'Poster's Knock' (air your grudges here) 'Kind Man's Rebuff' (only those practised in the art of ignoring posts can play) and 'Squeal, Piggy, Squeal' (an opportunity for tell-tales of all descriptions) We won't be playing 'Sardines', cos they've all gorn orf in the hot weather, but as today's birthdays fall in the Star-sign of Cancer, I expect there'll be a touch of the crab around. I've got a present for Dan Longman - it's a book called 'Taxidermy for Beginners', but what should we give Guinevere? (Suggestions by private email, in case we get sussed.) Please come along and join the fun at 3 p m, and kindly keep this tread afloat till then, as I've got to go and put on my party frock and stick a bow in my hair (I'll leave out the arrow, if you don't mind). Feel free to add your own contributions to make the party go with a swing, and bring along all your friends - the more, the merrier. CB >|< P S Dave's already baggsied the green jelly.
