Guinevere, Are you going to give us a puppet show, or shall we play 'Post the Thread on the Wonky'? The stage is all set for that too! CB >|< |

Oh well, Gwynne's had to go for now, but Daniel hasn't turned up yet, so can we keep it going for him, and Gwynne might be back later. What have you all bought for Gwynne? CB >|< |

Glad you enjoyed your Maccy D's. What other presents did you get? CB >|< |

Daniel | Report | 13 Jul 2005 16:35 |
None. Its just easier to give me the cold hard cash. Then I can 'invest it' the way I want. I've currently used some to but some 2 new shirts, new shaver, tickets for Derek Acorah in September (front row upstairs :-) |

Agreed, that's the best way with young people. £175 isn't a bad haul. What did you call your latest acquisition, after all? CB >|< |

No not too bad at all. And I still have those temporary relatives who send cards with money in that I haven't seen for 10 years. Great! The owl was christened Oliver. It was a lovely baptism. Didn't make a sound. |

Do you have plans for a menagerie of stuffed stuff, or will you leave it at just the two? CB >|< |

Daniel | Report | 13 Jul 2005 16:48 |
Just 2! Just 2! The others would be offended if they read that :-) There is: Basil the Fox Steve the Crocodile Oliver the Owl Billy the snake. I don't know what will be next. Perhaps a mink. I have been keeping an eye on one. |

Crikey, Dan! I didn't realised you'd got all those! Where on earth do you keep them? I don't think you're alone in wanting a mink. Until fairly recently, thousands of ladies were of the same mind, only they weren't thinking of mink in quite the same form as you are! Don't you find it spooky, having all those pairs of eyes following you round the room? I would. CB >|< |
