Oh yes, and the best one I've ever heard - Desmond Dekker singing 'The Israelites', which sounds for all the world like 'Me ear's are alight!' CB >|<

When Madonna's 'La Isla Bonita' was a new release, I used to listen to London's Capital Radio. Can't remember which DJ it was, but one of them used to call it the Chop the Goolie song. If you listen, she sings 'Trop-ic-ally wild and free', and it sounds like Chop the Goolie wild and free. Another DJ once labelled Olivia Newton John & John Travolta's 'You're the One that I Want' 'You're a Wobberly Dog'. Woo Hoo Hoo CB >|<

Natalia - did you ever tell your Mum what a Roach was? A friend of my Dad and Step Mothers is from Lebanon and at a New Years Eve party once he asked why we all sing 'All Lambs Down'!!! (Should be Auld Langsyne). Kaye x

Hope I dont get booted off for this one but my mam is so niave shes funny. She loves Dr Hook but I dont think she understands some of the things they sing about. One day she is singing her heart out along to 'Freakin at the Freakers Ball. When the line, 'Pass that roach please, and pour the wine' came along. My mam was singing, 'Pass that rose please, and pour the wine'. When I laughed at her she didn't know why. She didn't know what a roach was. Natalia x
