Hi Eveyone, Unfortunatley Josh had a bad day yesterday which has resulted in the doctors confirming that they will be performing the Tracheotomy today He had had a good couple to days.....his brain pressure seemed to have stabalised and everything was going 'ok', but yesterday his pressure rocketed again. On a positive note.... the bleeding on his Lung and Kidney have cleared and his Pelvis isn't broken as first thought. Info is only getting to me in dribs and drabs, but as soon as i know anymore.... I shall let you know Thanks again for thinking of us Claire x |

Dear Claire, Just looked in to see if there was any news about Josh. As you say, his body will need plenty of rest. Maybe they are doing a tracheotomy (don't know if I've spelled that correctly either!) so that he can breath better. I'm sure one of the nurses on these boards will be explaining that to you. So, keeping him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. Here's a few more hugs xxx |

Hi Everyone, Still no change with little Josh...but i'm working on the basis that no news is good news and that while he's still sleeping his body is busy repairing itself there is talk of fitting a tracheotomy,please excuse the spelling..... (my mother would slap me if she saw how i'd spelt that).... for a few a short period of time but i'm not sure why they want to do it. Thanks again for keeping us all in your thoughts....... I will post again tomorrow to let you know how he's doing Claire x |

Hiya, At this truely horrendous time for Josh and his family and friends, I can only send more love, hugs and even more prayers. CJ asked at school for them to say prayers but today they had already arranged the assembly. They are dedicating tomorrows assembly to Josh and other road accidents victims (the Headmasters wife is a nurse at the local hospital) ... and so hopefully Josh will be given some strength after 3pm tomorrow. CJ has asked if you can send a message to Josh to tell him - 'come on mate, you get better soon, so you can go back to school and play with your mates again', which is why I came to find the thread again. I think CJ is still cut up about his friend Harley who passed away just over a year ago.... so he is very sensitive about children being ill in hospital. I can't NOT pass on his remarks. Little Ray I know its hard for all involved as you all want to see him move and open his eyes etc but his body needs time to heal and is best if he is asleep for that. Hope he improves soon |
