Dear Claire, Just looked in to see if there was any news about Josh. As you say, his body will need plenty of rest. Maybe they are doing a tracheotomy (don't know if I've spelled that correctly either!) so that he can breath better. I'm sure one of the nurses on these boards will be explaining that to you. So, keeping him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. Here's a few more hugs xxx

Hi Eveyone, Unfortunatley Josh had a bad day yesterday which has resulted in the doctors confirming that they will be performing the Tracheotomy today He had had a good couple to days.....his brain pressure seemed to have stabalised and everything was going 'ok', but yesterday his pressure rocketed again. On a positive note.... the bleeding on his Lung and Kidney have cleared and his Pelvis isn't broken as first thought. Info is only getting to me in dribs and drabs, but as soon as i know anymore.... I shall let you know Thanks again for thinking of us Claire x

Good lad Josh, you keep fighting. the tracheostomy will ease the breathing situation and make him more comfortable in the long run. Its so 'one day at a time' with these things. Hopefully a better day today. Keep fighting that man! Jess x

Just looking in to see how he is. Poor little devil, what a lot for him to have to go through. But he is young and fit, so lets pray he will get better quickly and one day this will be a distant nightmare to his family. God bless.

Thanks for the update. The tracheostomy is probably because they expect him to need help with his breathing for longer than they first thought. It is not really a big operation. I am glad he is still fighting and I will continue to pray for him. Hugs Anne.
