Spoke to one of Josh's cousins this morning at work and unfortunatley Josh took a bit of a step backwards yesterday.... he reacted badly to something yesterday (i can only guess that it is one of the drugs that they have him on) so they have put him into an even deeper sleep and aren't thinking of trying to wake him up anytime soon. There is also talk of removing part of his skull (unsure as to why) and some dead tissue, and even more worringly (sp) some brain tissue as it is dead and they don't want it to cause further complications Darren (my fella) is at the hospital at the moment so if i get any more info when I speak to him in a bit, I will let you all know. I want to thank you all again for your thoughts and support sent to myself and Josh's family over the last couple of days.... c x |

Little Ray I know its hard for all involved as you all want to see him move and open his eyes etc but his body needs time to heal and is best if he is asleep for that. Hope he improves soon |

Hiya, At this truely horrendous time for Josh and his family and friends, I can only send more love, hugs and even more prayers. CJ asked at school for them to say prayers but today they had already arranged the assembly. They are dedicating tomorrows assembly to Josh and other road accidents victims (the Headmasters wife is a nurse at the local hospital) ... and so hopefully Josh will be given some strength after 3pm tomorrow. CJ has asked if you can send a message to Josh to tell him - 'come on mate, you get better soon, so you can go back to school and play with your mates again', which is why I came to find the thread again. I think CJ is still cut up about his friend Harley who passed away just over a year ago.... so he is very sensitive about children being ill in hospital. I can't NOT pass on his remarks. Hi Everyone, Still no change with little Josh...but i'm working on the basis that no news is good news and that while he's still sleeping his body is busy repairing itself there is talk of fitting a tracheotomy,please excuse the spelling..... (my mother would slap me if she saw how i'd spelt that).... for a few a short period of time but i'm not sure why they want to do it. Thanks again for keeping us all in your thoughts....... I will post again tomorrow to let you know how he's doing Claire x |
