ok, that makes sense now. When I said home, I didn't necessarily mean the place she lived, just the area - have you tried their friends etc (silly question, of course you have). Have you tried calling the police there, if you explained the situationthey may go and check the house ? |

Paul, thanks mate and yeah she may have gone back to her bungalow but she hated it there so much I doubt it but that's why me asking if anyone can do a drive by in Great Yarmouth to see if she is back there!! |

Joan yes me was that lady...... whats worse is they are both deaf and therefore phone calls aren't possible!! And yes me worried about her..... Dad is safely with my sis at present but I also have to deal with him coming home on Sunday and not knowing how I am gonna get him cared for whilst I am at work..... he has cataracts too so deaf and nearly blind!!! |

oh my god ! I really don't know what to say - don't get that often eh ? Is it possible that moving house has just tipped her over the edge - could she have gone back 'home' ? probably can't be of any practical use but you know if there's anything I can do, anything at all, you only have to ask. Ironically after having 2 voddies tonight me is ready to spill about why me so blue..... My mother is an alcoholic.... and she has gone AWOL..... no-one has heard from her for nearly a week.... Dad has decided that he wants a divorce and I can't say I blame him as he's been married to her for 44 years..... So much for moving them south to find peace in their lives!!!!! Me just finding this hard to deal with and I don't really know what to do to find her so if anyone has any advice then please let me know!! Someone from the boards has just offered to drive round there in the morning and ask a neighbour to call me..... I won't name names but you know who you are and i owe you BIG time..... THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!! She has been found but currently in hospital and I am waiting for a call to find out what is wrong with her.... I understand that she fell badly on Sat and its the result of the drink! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT - And my knight in shining armour..... my family say a HUGE thank you!! |
