Jo, You will have realised by now or should have done that the majority of members on this site are WOMEN. I dont know Dav except for his threads and postings but I would say without hesitation that there is no carry on , hanky panky, or anything of that sort occupying his time. I am 74 years old married 51 years and the number of young ladies ,married ladies and as my friend CB says old bags who reply to my threads etc would give my wife cause for the divorce courts if she did not know better. BC, or Buttercup is a friend to an awful lot of people on this site and as has been said always signs off with xxxx's. Does not mean a thing except a way of signing off a reply . To be fair to Dav please do that which other people have suggested , read the boards andyou will feel a lot better for it and who knows you may want to contribute yourself. Rupert Bear

Yes, Jess. Good question. I'd also like to know WHO is the 'authority' on these matters, as quoted by BC. What HAS been going on? CB >|< X BTW How are the Hampsteads now?

You said I was the only one for you. I'm heartbroken you hussy. Paul xxxx (seriously, it's fairly standard practive for people to add xxx's online when they're chatting, doesn't mean anything except they're being friendly. Have never seen anything untoward).

My husband has spent years of his life out playing various sports or watching them on TV. I rarely went with him and I often felt bored and neglected at home, but I couldn't go out myself as I had to take care of our son - we couldn't afford babysitters or two lots of drinks in the pub. If he now objects to me spending whatever time I like messing about on the Internet, he's in no position to say anything. He doesn't complain much - he's still too busy watching endless football on TV! He has had a far wider and more varied social life than I have during the 30 years we've been together, and if I choose to banter with blokes or have a laugh with the girls on GR, so what? It's only the Internet, it isn't real. Anyway, at my age, he's got nothing to worry about. Nobody's interested in an old bag like me. LOL CB >|<

Well, I think that is very honourable of you Arthur, sticking to your decision, and good for you. As for exposing my myth, well I will forgive you:-) XX BC

JO If you are reading this you will see that it is all just harmless banter but these boards help people with their family tree, give advice on just about anything if needed and cheer us up when we are down. We have a serious side at times and as you can see a jokey side but it is all just good clean (ish) fun. Dave often mentions you on his posts so most of us know that his wife is called Jo. I live in Grenada and chat to these people in my living room, I often read the posts to my husband and we have a laugh together (but he soon gets bored with me and trundles off). He is also in 'love' with Buttercup, she's a darling and we all love her to bits!!! Jacquie xxx (56 on Thursday.... wey hey!!!!)

Yes, Strump, the strippers. Good photo that one. Mind you, if David hadn't been there, I might have had a few probs explaining them away - and why lots of the ladies present were wearing thongs and tiaras! LOL CB >|<
