Heather, My thoughts are with your dad, you and all your family. I hope he pulls through this OK. Dont blame yourself for him being on his own, they are very stubborn and like to stay with what they are familiar with. Take care of yourself, he will need you to be strong. Love June xx |

I rang the hospital and they said he is poorly. I told them to tell him his son in law will be there very soon. He is terrified of hospitals. He hadnt been to a doctor for 50 years until he had his minor stroke 4 years ago. He is a life long vegetarian. I do hope he pulls out of this and I will insist he comes and lives with me. I can convert the dining room into a bedsit for him. My sister just rang, she had called the hospital the doctor was with him and spoke to her. Said he is unconscious. |

Husband still about an hour or more away from Dad. Police control rang and said the officers had gone with him to hospital. Ive rung the hospital and they said he is waiting to be assessed by a doctor but is not responding to them and there is no movement down his left side. He has also been vomiting black blood. Oh guys, poor old devil. He is really so lovely, everyone loves him. |
