Sending out positive thoughts to your dad and your family Heather. You are a loving daughter and other than phoning him every hour, there was nothing you could do to prevent this happening. My neighbour fell ill five weeks ago, her daughter who lives nearby took her to the walk in center. That evening she left her mum at 11:30pm. She went back at 6:30am, earlier than intended for some reason, to find her mum on the floor, seriously ill. Her daughter beat herself up over not being there....but now realises that she did all she could. My neighbour recovered against all the odds given to her that first night. She is still a little poorly, but has, against all odds, returned home on Monday. Please don't give up hope. Elaine x |

Husband got to the hospital about 1.30 a.m. Dad unconscious. Husband held his hand and said he was there and if you can hear, squeeze my hand and he did. At 4 a.m. they moved dad to a ward. Husband spoke to doctor and they arent hopeful. Im trying to find a train down to Kent. Youngest boy taken day off and will stay with Ralph the puppy. All the bloody trains seem to need 4 changes. Its pouring with rain. Im so very sad. |
