Yes please Linen, but Im not sure he will be able to fight this time. He had become very frail in the last 6 months though his brain was just as active as always. He had a minor stroke 4 years ago but he was up and about within hours and demanding a taxi to go home from the hospital (my son found him whilst he was working in London and called in to see him). But I dont know how long he had been there, the police havent rung back yet so I suppose he must be in a poor way. Im not sure what I can do with little Ralph if I go down tomorrow. And I have a slightly disabled son who I dont like to leave alone. What a terrible couple of years weve had. I lost my uncle only 3 weeks ago. |

He lives in Orpington. There was no neighbours to phone because they have all died or gone into homes and he is surrounded by young people who dont even say good morning to him. I have begged him for years to come and live with me, so has my sister who lives in Notts but he has refused. He has refused any sort of home help and its only the last six months he couldnt get up to the shops to do his own shopping and I have had tescos deliver to him. I love him so very much. We were larfing our heads off on the phone last night, he is such a funny man. And Id ordered all his presents for Friday delivery. |

My dad is 91 this Friday. I phone him every night as he is 120 miles away and refuses to leave the house he has lived in for 53 years. Tonight he didnt answer the phone. After an hour I phoned the police. AFter another hour and still no news my husband set off down to Kent. I have just phoned dad again and the police were there. He has had a stroke. I feel so terrible. How long had he sat there alone. I dont know what is happening the police man said I have to go, he is frothing at the mouth. I am breaking my heart. Please pray for him. |
