well, the agent has Phoned and i am sitting here crying my little eys out This couple want to live on the estate on which we live - they have made it quite plain right from the start, she was brought up here and want to return here. Suddenly, which was they brought her builder brother round for yesterday, they want a second bathroom.(Their house at the moment has an en-suite i guess) Apparently they cannot afford to put one in....! So the agent used the blokes words...''We wont be taking it any further'' - 8 weeks we have waited for them ----------------------- I'm Gutted.- they want the impossible! All the houses on this estate are non en-suite, all the same design. The agent is going to try and get everyone to compromise on price a bit , ie :we pay less for the one we want and so we need to ask less from then so they can afford this AND to build on.... but sorry , as far as i am concerned its over. |

Jess - he seems to vanish after 1901 when he was 12. They called him Disney as one of the Wray rellies have gone to America and married a Mr Disney - (yeah the REAL Disneys - brill aint it!) And Venus Haigh was a distant relative of Kenneth Haigh the Acid Bath Murderer. She got that name (Venus) as did a lot of little girls because the planet was discovered a few years before her birth. I keep searching the local records for Disneys middle name as THAT might be the way to find out what happened to him. She |

Jess, I really do feel for you, Our house buying seemed to go on for ages, with some pillock at the botttom of the chain wanting to drop the price in dribs and drabs (4 times they asked for another £500 reduction!) It was so important for me to move as I'd been living away from the family for 6 months. I was at the end of my tether thinking I'd pack up the job and go back. It is so difficult when there is a real reason for moving, rather than just fancying a change. Keep smiling, hope they phone soon. Suex |
