ANTI-NOWHERE LEAGUE 'Streets Of London' Well did you see the old man Outside the seamen's mission Never is a fading with the medals that he wears And did you see the old man Outside the seamen's mission He's just another hero from a land that doesn't care So how can you tell me you're lonely And don't you say to me your sun don't shine And have you seen the old girl Who walks the Streets Of London She ain't got no money and she's all dressed in rags And have you seen the old girl Who walks the Streets Of London She carries her old knickers in two polythene bags So how can you tell me you're lonely And don't you say to me your sun don't shine Well let me take you by the hand And lead you through your Streets Of London I'll show you something you'll never understand Well let me take you by the hand And drag you through your Streets Of London I'll show you sonething that'll make you really sick Well let me take you by the hand And lead you through your Streets Of London I'll show you something we'll never understand Well let me take you by the hand And drag you through your Streets Of London I'll show you sonething that'll make you really sick

Got this on at the moment. Love the song. Don't read anything into it though lol Placebo 'Nancy Boy' Alcoholic kind of mood lose my clothes, lose my lube cruising for a piece of fun looking out for number one different partner every night so narcotic outta sight what a gas, what a beautiful ass. And it all breaks down at the role reversal, got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal, got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. Kind of buzz that lasts for days had some help from insect ways comes across all shy and coy just another nancy boy. Woman man or modern monkey just another happy junkie fifty pounds, press my button going down. And it all breaks down at the role reversal got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal, got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. Does his makeup in his room douse himself with cheap perfume eyeholes in a paper bag greatest lay I ever had kind of guy who mates for life gotta help him find a wife we're a couple, when our bodies double. And it all breaks down at the role reversal got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal, got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. And it all breaks down at the role reversal, got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me. And it all breaks down at the first rehearsal, got the muse in my head she's universal, spinnin' me round she's coming over me.

lol Paul, You're Gonna Lose Us by The Cribs By the time they lost him, They'd realised he was a good lad. He no longer goes to parties, cos last time hurt bad. Yeah they were all laughing, Talking behind his back. They said he'd been asking strange things like this: 'Do you love me?' No Well don't say that cos sh** on your doorstep and you'll lose us. This drivers clueless, he stopped outside the station and said 'Let's be having you out, you can't do that son' When I'm drunk I can be an a**ehole, But that don't mean I've got no class no, Why can't we have something going on? You think about others too much, Well that's a strange put down. cos no-one has the same opinions, so where's the harm in asking 'Do you love me?' No Well don't say that cos sh** on your doorstep and you'll lose us. This drivers clueless, he stopped outside the station and said 'Let's be having you out, put that back son' When I'm drunk I can be an a**ehole, But that don't mean I've got no class no, Why can't we have something going on? You're gonna lose us

My Favourite Song - THE CALL by Kathy Kay. How does the homing pidgeon know, his way back home along the route, a route that he has never ever flown. Is it because his mate is waiting there, that makes him beat his golden wings against the air, until he`s home. For he must go where his heart tells him, there is nothing else that he can do, he`s heard the call, the come-back call, the call that always brings me back to you. It`s nature`s way and the need is strong, the need to be in the place where you belong. What is the drive that drives the salmon, on to spawn her eggs along, the rivers and the streams where she was. She fights the rapids and she scorns, the rocks and crags that drag her down, and leave her graceful silver body torn. For she must go where her heart tells her, there is nothing else that she can do, she`s heard the call, the come-back call, the call that always brings me back to you. It`s natures way and the need iis strong, the need to be in the place where you belong. Sometimes I say I`ll stay away, from you to see if I can break, the magic spell that binds me to your side. Then night time falls, and something calls, and like a swallow heading back to Capistrano, to your arms I fly. For I must go where my heart tells me. there is nothing else that I can do, I`ve heard the call, the come-back call, the call that always brings me back to you. (If this is slush, then I`m a romantic)

My fave at the moment Talk - Coldplay Oh brother I can't, I can't get through I've been trying hard to reach you, cause I don't know what to do Oh brother I can't believe it's true I'm so scared about the future and I wanna talk to you Oh I wanna talk to you You can take a picture of something you see In the future where will I be? You can climb a ladder up to the sun Or write a song nobody has sung Or do something that's never been done Are you lost or incomplete? Do you feel like a puzzle, you can't find your missing piece? Tell me how do you feel? Well I feel like they're talking in a language I don't speak And they're talking it to me So you take a picture of something you see In the future where will I be? You can climb a ladder up to the sun Or write a song nobody has sung Or do something that's never been done Do something that's never been done So you don't know were you're going, and you wanna talk And you feel like you're going where you've been before You tell anyone who'll listen but you feel ignored Nothing's really making any sense at all Let's talk, let's talk Let's talk, let's talk

Precious by Depeche Mode Precious and fragile things Need special handling My God what have we done to you We always tried to share The tenderest of care Now look what we have put you through Things get damaged Things get broken I thought we'd manage But words left unspoken Left us so brittle There was so little left to give Angels with silver wings Shouldn't know suffering I wish I could take the pain for you If God has a master plan That only He understands I hope it's your eyes He's seeing through Things get damaged Things get broken I thought we'd manage But words left unspoken Left us so brittle There was so little left to give I pray you learn to trust Have faith in both of us And keep room in your hearts for two Things get damaged Things get broken I thought we'd manage But words left unspoken Left us so brittle There was so little left to give

The Hardest Part Coldplay And the hardest part Was letting go not taking part Was the hardest part And the strangest thing Was waiting for that bell to ring It was the strangest start I can feel it go down Bittersweet I could taste in my mouth Silver lining the clouds And I I wish that I could work it out And the hardest part Was letting go not taking part You really broke my heart And I tried to sing But I couldn't think of anything And that was the hardest part I can feel it go down You left the sweetest taste in my mouth You're a silver lining the clouds Oh, and I Oh, and I I wonder what its all about [x2] Everything I know is wrong Everything I do it just comes undone And everything is torn apart Oh and thats the hardest part Thats the hardest part Yeah, thats the hardest part Thats the hardest part

Speed of Sound Coldplay How long before I get in Before it starts before I begin How long before you decide or Before I know what it feels like Where to, where do I go? If you never try then you'll never know How long do I have to climb Up on the side of this mountain of mine Look up, I look up at night Planets are moving at the speed of light, Climb up, up in the trees Every chance that you get is a chance you seize How long am I gonna stand With my head stuck under the sand I'll start before I can stop or Before I see things the right way up All that noise and all that sound All those places I got found And birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand Ideas that you'll never find All the inventors could never design The buildings that you put up Japan and China all lit up The sign that I couldn't read or a light, that I couldn't see Some things you have to believe While others are puzzles, puzzling me All that noise and all that sound All those places I got found And birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand Oh, when you see it then you'll understand All those signs I knew what they meant, some things you can invent Some get made and some get sent ooh And birds go flying at the speed of sound To show you how it all began Birds came flying from the underground If you could see it then you'd understand Oh, when you see it then you'll understand

Anyone remember this? Just been listening to it for the first time in years. Used to be one of my favourites. Broken Land - The Adventures These rivers run too deep With schemes of men for days that lay ahead They sell their souls so cheap They breed mistrust and fill my heart with dread When did the boy become a man And lose his life to learn So much confusion to this plan These times are not changing Show me the love to keep us together Open up your hearts don't turn me away Comfort me through this stormy weather >From where I stand, I see a broken land This boy had learned to fail In times like these to cry seems so absurd His own life's crisis pales In the shadow of this truly dying world These are the games we played at school Our hands raised in despair With no exception to the rule These times are not changing
