I must have made a very insignificant entrance to the world, when I was little I used to ask where I was born and no one could remember. According to my Birth Certificate, it says Pinxton, Notts. but it may have been under a gooseberry bush! June xx |

I was born at Seaman's Home on Ilkley Moor, Yorkshire (Bah Tat') It was a Convelesant Home for Woman that had problems in Childbirth (My mum had a problem with me lol) It belonged to Bradford's St Lukes Hospital at the time. I looked the place up on the Internet once and it reminds me of one of those Haunted Houses you see in the Movies. Real scary looking. Not very exotic lol Regards Jackie |

Bella Donna, Well, it says 'Camberwell' (SE5) on my birth certificate. Peckham SE15 starts at Commercial Way on the North side of Peckham Road and Talfourd Road on the South side. CB >|< |

Hi Carol, I dont really remember a lot about it!! But I do know that 219 Railton Rd, where we lived is also where my grandad died (death cert!) and that the riots in 1986 were outside of there, and that Brockwell park was a 2 min walk (funny how I remember that park with its lido). Also remember the railway line at the bottom of the garden! Debs x |

I was born in Garston, Liverpool, opposite the Old Airport (now Marriot Hotel) in the front room of my nans house, mum was getting ready to go the bingo and never got there cos of me LOL. I was the 4th Generation on my mums side to be born in that house, the house is still standing and Ive always said that if it comes up for sale when Im looking for another house I will buy it. Now live in Speke, round the corner from John Lennon Airport. Yvonne |
