Well having been suffering with a bad back for 2 days I'd missed all the fun and now find myself the recipient of several awards. Thank you for cheering me right up. Deanna - you must have the loveliest person award, together with the wisest, which you must share with Pat Circles. They are the only names I shall mention as I know I shall leave someone out of a long list. So, not wishing to be accused of either favouritism or plagiarism I'd like to echo BC's post. Now you'll all have to go back and find it! lol Daisy |

OK it's kind of a long list. Lyla The award that’s ALL yours is the longest, funniest thread on Tips, talking lettuce, cabbage, meat pies, horses & false teeth all on one thread about ‘The Most Amusing' that was from the Death. Never anything like it before or since. Christine in Edinburgh the sanest lol, Winter the strangest (nicest possible way), BC extra special, the funniest most delightful OAP flirt on genes. Daisy the loveliest name, suits her nature. Lou the A-Z Queen. Gerri (sleepless one) the maddest, Nell (Helen Little Nell) the most patient & helpful, who thinks the most similar to myself except for David Owen who is so close in my thinking its the spookiest. Marjorie aka Olde Crone the cleverest. The Night Owls Deb in (Canada) Vancouver, Jacquie Oleander, Purple Petunia, Maz Cornwall, Donna Strump, Karen & of course Christine too, Yvonne & Michelle to all the Night Owls on here where would this lost soul be without somewhere to park her Guinness & chat. Heather in Warwickshire Miss reliable. lol. Ann in Glos & Mags in Bristol. Wisdom awards Dorothy G the loveliest lady award Dave B the naughtiest, Jill Most Bored Person Award (not right really, shouldn't be that way). Lefty Jen for fun I could say more but won’t m8 ;-) CB the most comprehensive & clearest poster, Lisa curly wurley for All those great threads you used to do. Gwynne for the nails lol & sensible too! Grampa the wisest, Sue in Yorks for being hilariously mad. Chrissie & Dumpling can share the nutters award. Mandy the bluest (knees that is). Jeanette Yorkshire the fishiest, Kim the bestest barmaid, Patty in Canada for being a clever posterer (is that a word?), Anne in Selhurst for her taste & great laughs too). Joy the Bounce, Lemon the crazy. For laughs Ann Yorks Lass, Sue Otley, Perfect shaped Wendy, Stelly, Ken, Malc, Stu and all the other late night drinkers hic. lol. I can’t leave out lovely Bec for being the one & only & also appears in the youth awards with Lucia, Steph & Daniel. Norf Londoner Lynda for some of the most interesting threads & who participates in them not just copy & paste them. Elaine the straight talker, as is Jess aka the helpful. Heather Morrisey thank you (here’s a fiver lol) Bryan Cilfrew for being there for People so often. Roxanne Animal lover supreme as well as Hunger site crusader with Brian oh Brian. Cheeriest nature goes to Maz in East End The Quiz Queens award shared between EmC and Dee. Mommy Jenny for the HUGE task in the GB Relay. Diana Pink & all the other Charity peeps. June Preston for her sterling work on Birthday & Anniversary threads. Deanna, Joan Arc, Elaine Derbyshire, CarolB, Julie, Julie Ann, Jean D, Rosalyn B, Debs In Canada is it Ontario now? Pat | Report | 9 Nov 2005 02:16 |
Lucia what are you doing up at this hour you were mentioned lol. how could I forget you. I hope you know we are getting winter drawers in training for the film thread the winter months we need it. Yes I shall get an award for waffle I was very conscious I did not want to upset people who have spent time with me and made me laugh angry and tired all is fun and part of genes general. So many people add so much they do not realise the impact they have even people I have disagreed with and we have found a way to get over that :-) that is my way, not always other people's way, but it is the best way in the end. Lovely to see you Lucia hope you will be joining us earlier in the evenings on the film thread :-) Night Pat x |

Awh Daisy, I'm touched... but you knew that didn't you? Steedie, they are usually dirty e-mails which you are supposed to be too young and naive to understand!! And Pat.....were you just trying to give EVERYONE an award? In which case.... I nominate Pat for her generosity. Deanna X |

I haven't replied to this thread before because there are just so many people I can give awards to. This site is my lifeline (sad ain't I?). The threads can make me cry, laugh, frustrate, anger, annoy, and love. Just a few for special mention : Most patience award : Maz in the East End for allowing me to trail around after her and taking care of me. Award for the son I wish I'd had : David Owen Award for real all round good egg : Lynda Pace Most missed on the Boards Award : Shelli Colby Best niece and nephew : Jan and Rick Good friend award : Joan Palmer Threads I love to read whether I agree or disagree : Paul (Chunky) : Andy oop North : Bec : Pat in Circles : Purple Petunia: Jacqui (Orleander) : Bendy Wendy : Patti (Canada): Roxanne : the lovely Dee in Bexley Heath (why don't you post more darlin'?) : CB : Gwynne. Special Awards for Lemon Nelly 'cause she always makes me laugh and BC who is so glamorous. Last but not least : Award for most dead animals goes to: Daniel Longman (who reminds me so much of my 18 year old grandson (except for the dead animals). Jean x. |
